UCSD colonoscopies
Why does UCSD sometimes deny the fact that it records videos of colonoscopies?
So it's easier for them to violate the law obliging them to provide medical records to
patients.
Of course they record colonoscopies.
I remember when they recorded them on VHS videotape. Now the videos are
recorded digitally.
They admit that they sometimes miss polyps as big as 1 centimeter (about a quarter
of an inch).
This is not a good thing.
But some doctors are better than others at noticing cancerous and pre-cancerous
lesions.
The others clearly need more training. So how do you train them? You show them
the lesions they missed. You have them go back and look at the video
