In July 2011 Kaiser Permanente in San Diego claimed that a large series of
X-rays done at the brand new Garfiled Specialty Center was not preserved on
film or saved electronically.  Kaiser claimed that only five images were
saved-on thermal paper! Below are the five images.  Incredibly, two of the
saved images are previews, or "scout" x-rays.  Why would these be printed
out?  They were not medically useful.  Answer: The truth is that all the images
were saved digitally, and Kaiser concealed them to cover-up an incorrect
diagnosis.
