How much awareness of guilt can be found in this letter from California Teachers Association? Quite a bit. |
Teacher union leaders appear to be chosen for their willingness to do what they're told. In fact, Jim Groth, longtime CVE leader, was chosen in 2007 as a member of the statewide CTA Board of Directors, apparently in appreciation for his loyal support to CTA Executive Director Carolyn Doggett and her lawyers Beverly Tucker and Michael Hersh and their course of action that required multiple violations of law. The State of California holds CTA immune from unfair labor practice charges for unequal representation. |
Beverly Tucker and Michael Hersh, CTA lawyers, keep CVE board members under tight control |
"The deposition notice seeks to depose Gina Boyd ...concerning matters related to her activities as the CVE President. I have notified the defendant's counsel that the deposition notice cannot ... require disclosure of any documents created or maintained by CVE." |
Gina Boyd's deposition did not occur until 2004, at which time Michael Hersh instructed Boyd not to answer any questions regarding Boyd's or CVE actions regarding Maura Larkins. |
It is obvious from the document below and other documents that CTA tells CVE (Chula Vista Educators) what to do. Chula Vista Directors were not given documents of this case and asked how they wanted to proceed. Instead, they were asked to rubber-stamp the actions of CTA lawyers, and to approve and cover up multiple and continuous violations of law. |
"...As a former union officer myself..." [is it any wonder that the meeting Michael Hersh described in his imaginative letter never took place? Oct. 14, 2004 |
Other Tucker/Hersh cases: Albert G. Truitt case (teacher pedophile) |
Did CTA and its lawyers commit felony obstruction of justice against a CTA member? No other explanation makes sense. |
"I have been provided with a copy of a deposition notice you apparently served upon the defendant in the above action. The deposition notice seeks to depose Gina Boyd, the President of the CVE concerning matters related to her activities as the CVE President. I have notified the defendant's counsel that the deposition notice served upon the defendant cannot compel the deposition of President Boyd with regard to activities outside of her employment by the defendant [CVE was claiming that Boyd's employer was Chula Vista Elementary School District when Boyd was on leave from the district to work as president of Chula Vista Educators], nor require disclosure of any documents created or maintained by CVE." |
The middle paragraph of the above document pretends that CVE President Gina Boyd has a right to cover up all her activities as CVE president: |
See explanation below |
Mr. Hersh and his boss, CTA head counsel Beverly Tucker, clearly feel that they are above the law. When CTA became a defendant in the case, CTA continued to maintain that no subpoena could compel any teachers union employee to testify about the union. |
